We are pleased to announce the artist’s first solo show with Lancaster Galleries. The public is invited to attend the preview opening, and greet the artist, Thursday April 27, 5:00 – 8:30 as well as First Friday May 5, 5:00- 9:00. Jeff Geib will also be in the gallery for “Lancaster ArtWalk” Saturday, May 6 and Sunday May 7, from 12:00 – 4:00.
Jeff Geib’s drawings are an intimate experience for the viewer. The subject, surface and materials used express his own interest and passion for the classical as well as the act of drawing itself. The work is smaller at first glance; as you begin to look, move closer, you find yourself engaged in the world as Jeff sees it. His work pays homage to modern masters like Jim Dine as well as old masters such as Ingres, Rembrandt, and Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
