Although a native
to Pennsylvania, Neil Dreibelbis’s work belongs to private
and corporate collections nationwide, including Lebanon Valley
College, Pennsylvania State University, Armstrong Industries,
and Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith.
Dreibelbis received
his Bachelor ‘s degree from Kutztown University in Art
Education and a Masters degree from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
His teaching positions in the townships of Exeter and Muhlenberg,
gave him the experience necessary to become Art Coordinator
for Manheim Township’s School District. In 1999, he
was invited as a guest artist at the University of Alaska,
and in 2001 he served as a Cultural Exchange Instructor at
the Quinghai Normal University in China.
Since Dreibelbis
retired from teaching, he is devoted to becoming a full-time
artist. Sensing how a new environment may influence new direction,
he is creating within a studio outside of home for the first
time in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Undeniably, a teacher,
however, Dreibelbis continues to teach musical theater workshops
at the Kimmel Center of Performing Arts and volunteers there
as a tour guide.
